'Guru', launched in January 30, 2014, is the most recent power catamaran for Broadsword Marine Contractors. The purpose-built 24 by 11 metre cat is packed full of features such as  four-point anchoring, 20 tonne A-frame and moon pool, to name a few.

With 38,000 litres of fuel capacity  she has  a range of 1800 nautical miles  at 12.5 Knots and has been set up with  facilities to accommodate up to 20 people at sea for a month.

Equipped with "All of the bells and whistles" and finished to high quality standard, profab managing director Carl Ferguson says the 24-meter x 11-meter 'Guru' is more comprehensive work boat than many regularly built in New Zealand- noting the vessel's navis Dynamic positioning System which is not common in similarly Sizes work boats.
